That ratio has been in favor of the buyers for the last week and strongly in favor of the sellers for the last few months. I've always thought of it as a contrarian indicator...now I'm changing my mind.

Island buy vs sells is usially a contr indicator. When it gets extreme usially means buying is done for a bit. JMHO

I expect sellers in the last hour. With threat of terrorist actions and so many events that could occur over the weekend, a lot of traders and some investors will want out before the weekend.

The size/number of the orders in the queue is so small that if there was any value to the predictions, manipulators could very easily rig the board. That said, the ratio was positive during most of the dot.com boom and negative during the dot.com bust, so perhaps it is saying the bust is over.
