You can minimize your risks, but you can't make other people drive better. Even if you can reduce your risk by 90%, that 4k a year still looks pretty bad compared to what's being worried about here. For nearly a year of my life I only had a motorcycle as transportation. That is a lesson I learned in that year. But in the end, the wisdom of your statement can be seen in the many people, who lived through the depression, though they died rich lived simple lives in preparation for the worst up to the end. There is a fine line between measured care and fearful obsession and we much each, and as a culture, walk this line with open eyes. I think now we are seeing fear in it's natural habitat. Our environment has changed abruptly. As a culture we are very early into this reality, and in time we will learn from the scars it has left on us... But there will be casualties. cAPS
