Anthrax is very easy to make in small quantities, it is difficult to scale. Very difficult.

If this was the work of an organized group such as terrorists, my guess is that the probability is that they've been working on this for some time and thus might be capable of delivering anthrax in high quantities. And yet the reports we've been given is that the hits have been small and isolated.

I doubt that terrorists would go for some action that would have such small results in terms of numbers. The only way that I can see them using anthrax is if they had been able to scale production in large numbers. That's why I think that the most likely scenario is that it is a couple of nuts taking advantage of the current situation, not al Qaeda.

I knew my degree in chemistry would come in handy some time.
