The following story is a complete work of fiction and no serious honest to gosh, deeply-meant and supposed-to-be taken-ultra-seriously relation to any persons living or dead is intended. If you do find some reference to reality or can fathom some inference that parallels your life or the life of any other persons you may know, it is probably because your pharmacist is not using USP reagants. Astoundingly, it was Lucien Bouchard, Jacques, "Scarface" Parizeau and one Bruce Robbins (no relation to the SI poster), fr. Canadian bomb makers and mentally diseased radical communists, who offed the Kennedies opportunistically when they received orders from their Soviet handlers. They seized on this and planned to incorporate it as part of their plan, together with some Jesuits Terrorists, to destabilize the Canadian government. They thought that the sympathetic reaction with the anticipated ensuing US civil war would allow a popular takeover of Canada by extreme fr. nationalists. They were stopped when a splinter group of the KGB, co-operating with a radical left wing poseur group of CIA, decided to instead embark on a special weapons testing program. In order to decide the mutual worth of their game playing scenarios that they used to negotiate their nuclear test ban treaties, they had to have a real war. (You cannot play reality chess if you do not know what a pawn will actually do in practice.) Ergo, they decided to start a limited ground war in an Asian country to prove their assertions, one to the other, of their weapon's actual effectiveness. This was the Vietnam war. This required both countries to be stable to do weapons development. The destabilization processes of the Superpowers were put on hold for several years while they engaged in a ground war to lay the ground work for realistic projections of the SALT treaties. So they shifted the blame for the Kennedies to the Mafia by artful rumour and even threw in Johnson as a possible protagonist in case you didn't believe that. EC<:-}
