I'm an engineer I'm picky because we need to be. >>As far as "diesels getting more miles per gallon" that's just my sloppy, unscientific way of saying they release more energy per unit of fuel.... Which is one of the reasons for their use in trucking, and other heavy vehicles... and doesn't seem to be much of a secret. << There is no fact there. Diesels are used for large loads because they are a much simpler engine system, lower maintenance cost. No sustaining ignition system, no timing systems etc. Jim
