Relativists are making truth claims all the time until you call them on it, then they qualify till the cows come home Don't be silly. A relativist does not make "truth claims" in other than a relative and self interested sense. But then--neither do you. Do you remember Abraham? If God asked you to kill (say) your wife--and He told you He was sending her soul to HELL--would you do it Greg? If HE asked you---would you do it? YES or NO??? The relativists ought not to think; they ought to listen to you ;-)

Maybe you just don't understand what relativists are saying because you "believe" they are saying something they are not. If you can "believe" in things, there is certainly the possibility that what you believe "relativists" are saying is not what they are actually saying but only what you believe they are saying. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Unless you are trying to communicate. Then it might cause a bit of a communication problem.
