you know.. there is something to be said for the speculation that gore would have been more of a hawk than bush. the democrats have a long history of being warlike when in the office of president. coming quickly to mind are fdr, kennedy-johnson, and to some extent clinton. i mean, look at yugoslavia. that was a heckuva lot of fireworks. cluster bombs and all of that... nasty stuff... maybe gore would have kicked ass in this situation. i probably would have nuked someone by now if i were president. heck, i might have nuked a lot of people by now. among the favorite targets would be: afghanistan france the entire middle east i would not nuke persia they could use little neutron bombs but i'm not president so i don't make those decisions. that's why they pay bush the big bux. andy
