If the question was a billion to you with life imprisonment for the bastard--versus nothing for you, but a bullet through the head for him--what would you opt for and why?? ROFL It has nothing to do with appetite for justice- you have added that as a new wrinkle. When someone hands me a check I take it. You can repudiate the person who you take it from, but the money, in itself, is not evil and in fact can do great good. What is the good of letting people who you fear or despise keep their money? I fail to see the logic of silly stands on principle. So you approve of cutting off your nose to spite your face. That's fine.
