OT,kind of. Finland has its own set of "minorities", language, "ethnicity", historical and culture, regional
and economical.

One goal, includes a lot of underlying mechanisms to be reached, is to have the majority to be
honestly proud of their minorities.

As well as the minorities proud of the majority.

Takes mutual respect and some common sense, in my experience.

As well as some responsibility by leaders and the media when the rest does not, as well
as the other way around of that is the case.

Btw, took the finnish, general majority some time to "get it" that "even" Saami minorities have
the right to have different opinions on even their own issues.

Btw,btw, judging from the preparations made for afghan refugees, the direct military conflict
will or might probably last for some time until it changes from destruction to construction.
(luckily we already have some afghan refugees from some 5-15 years ago, who now can
use fairly fluent finnish to explaine their views, although it might be more emotionally
satisfying to just give "them" some easy labels)

Maurice, you once pointed to some personal history in connection to energy, any good links in terms of
the future and plans in that part of world??

I remember some good US congressional hearings in 1999 as well as 1996,7 and 8, slides on
sources, both oil and gas, pipe lines, redundancy, ports and end users, consumers as well
as costs??
