Amy,

re: What's a good A.M. radio station to tune into in the Bay Area to learn about highway news?

I haven't lived in the Bay area for 30+ years, even if I remembered, they would have probably changed.

That highway thing must have been strange.

John

Amy, OT *** KCBS on 740 AM for traffic news in the Bay area.

Jobless rates: the front page of the SJ Mercury News has a chart showing a Santa Clara county jobless rate of 5.9% in September 2001. This rate bottomed last December at less than 2%, about 6 months AFTER the Nasdaq peak. Will joblessness PEAK 6 months after the Nasdaq bottom? Seems a reasonable assumption to me. That would be next March if September '01 was the Nas bottom.
