Ken, I doubt that there are enough Sky marshals to put on ALL planes. I thought the program had been drastically cut back from the 70's. I wouldn't be surprised, if putting Sky Marshals on planes with just high government officials as passengers, would put almost all available agents in the air. Could you check for me, and find out just how many Sky Marshals there are right now? I forgot where I read it, but I read that the Border Patrol was expecting to lose a majority of their agents to the Sky Marshal program.

"You just want to defend Bush at any cost" No, I just thought that issue was pretty trivial. I agree with you that all planes should have sky marshalls, but that cannot be implemented insintaneously. To be clear, it is not the sky marshall policy I think is trivial, it is the complaint that having them on early flights with vips was somehow wrong. To me that is something that should have just happened, but someone decided it would make a good news story and leaked out the information (that's my guess). The result is that there are people like you that will act like we are somehow evil by "tricking" the public into thinking it is safe to fly. That said, has it been decided what percentage of flights will get sky marshalls? I am under the impression that it will not be 100%, but it will be a high enough percentage to have the same effect (like over 75%).
