Flippin brokers isn't the easiest thing I've ever done. I agree. I've tried quite a few over the years, and have settled on Scottrade for most of my accounts, for lots of reasons. The Interactive Broker account I opened has actually had a few problems with my being able to get access. I don't know if other people have had this problem, and I haven't tried to use it much yet. I do know that orders are routed to the best price or a specific exchange at the customers direction as a matter of course, so they have solved the specific problem you are having. I'm hoping they get the access bugs worked out before my condo sale closes so I can use them. Has anyone else who uses IB extensively had problems? ARS
