Actually, I got a letter from the PGA...reads as follows: Dear Mr M: Congratulations on the manner in which you have continued to demonstrate your professional grubbing acumen. Those of us at PGA are genuinely appreciative of the quiet way in which you go about your grubbing. While others may blow their horns you simply take them where and when they are available. That Mr M is the true sign of a professional grubber. Frankly, Mr M, we weren't sure about your selection. We've had some reservations regarding Terry's recommendations in the past, but, we are very happy that we went with our instincts this time. Please don't concern yourself that your nomination originates from a fellow who is having trouble distinguishing between a Pal and a double double. He was, after all, one of the pioneers in our business. In his hey day he set the standards for grubbing....but time has taken its toll. I say this only to assure you that there will always be a place for a consummate grubber like you.
