RRanger...

Nah, no snow in the Seattle area yet, still wet and mild here. It has been quite blustery, though. I like it.

Mt Bachelor in Eastern Oregon has gotten a good snow or two already. The ski areas here usually open around Thanksgiving.

I feel a good powder year coming on.

Being the critter man you are, I just saw something out the window of my office you would enjoy. My office is a houseboat, sitting on a little bay off Lake Washington , right next to the University of Washington.....I just watched two of the UW Crew shells stroke by at full bore, there was a flock of ducks right in front of them, meandering across the bay. The ducks weren't moving so both crews dropped their oars into the water hard to apply the brakes, so not to hit any ducks.....pretty cool.

We have a sailboat race in the summers here, every Tuesday evening, called the Duck Dodge. It is open to any all classes and sizes of boats, with only one rule. You are disqualified if you hit a duck.

have a great weekend.
