Were you and I were reading the same article? I did not see your "therefore gay is good" stated or implied in it anywhere. I presume that's the piece of the string of logic that astounded you since it's clearly flawed. I just don't know where you found it in that article.

I just read the article, after reading that you took the inference from it that "therefore gay is good."

I found no such reference or implication, but only a quite different one, that being gay was not bad.

Would you please quote or bold any statement from that piece that implies to you that the author of the piece was saying not that you can be gay and good, but that if you are gay you are necessarily good?

I would suggest that you take from the fact that there were gay Nazi stormtroopers the inference that there are bad gays.
