"Ah well, close but no cigar." really?

I'm not surprised you don't recognize your own words.

"Let me rewrite it for you. FWIW I rarely use selfish (except in connection with procreation) and I rarely say "should" (as in people "should be") because as a relativist "should" really doesn't enter into it"

You "thee relativist" wrote - #reply-4580834

"And proof is a silly thing to ask for in an argument such as this. You cannot provide proof for your assertion,
nor can I for mine. I think I am right, and that you are rather more selfish than you should be."

Your rewrite, as follows:

"Proof is an impossible thing to ask for in an argument like this. You cannot provide proof I will accept for your assertions, and I cannot provide proof you will accept for mine. I always feel the positive assertion carries the burden of proof, but even that statement is not something other people agree with. I think I am right, or I wouldn't argue my position, just as you think you are right. All these arguments just add to my perception that the world is indeed a very relative place."

I applaud this and encourage your rewriting of every post you made since dropping in from Three Mile Island.

"Poet, I hope you are baking those chocolate chip cookies."

You go girl... go stuff your face with cookies, how very Gore Gal of you... I see old Al has put on about 50 pounds to. Check into the emergency ward of your nearest Jenny Craig ASAP.

Alright, alright, PM me your address.

It was a good attempt by him. A very good attempt.
And Rand-less indeed.

I like your version of yourself better than his, though.
