<It's clear that there are some on the religious right - and I don't blame them - who are rattled by the recent exposure of what fundamentalism can achieve if welded to political power. Hi Karen. Yeah, would that this were true. The religious right may be a lot of things, but I don't include "introspective" among them. About the Sullivan article on gay heroes, I have to admit I read it the same way, E, X, and Choosie did: simply that there are gay heroes already in this "war" and that gay doesn't mean "bad".
