Dearest E, in the interest of public safety (and feelings of bigots) we simply must not allow gay opinion columnists, writing for privately-owned publications, to advance their opinions and interpretations of current events. They must self-censor in the interests of national unity and respect for religious objectors to the gay lifestyle. Only those writers promoting a vision of America sanctioned and approved by the proper authorities should be privately published at this time. While we are at it, we might as well round up all of the Arab Americans and put them in camps in the California, Nevada, and Utah deserts. In the interest of national security, of course. Come to think of it, we better incarcerate the Japanese Americans again, because we all know how treacherous and evil they are.
