I agree that there are numerous instances of "unwritten" religious rules that are enforced by the majority in a community. It is true that these are often discriminatory. I believe that it is also true that these are not sanctioned by our government and that, as we evolve, these instances are declining in number and ability to influence or intimidate others.

I agree we are not done evolving. I do not believe we ever will be.
