I don't know whom to ask to follow up about this, and in any case recognize that it's a delicate subject. Showing any interest in it at all makes one run the risk of appearing to witch-hunt American Muslims. Some obscure reporter who wants to make a name for himself, and, not having one, having nothing to lose by asking the unaskable, may be doing some investigative journalism right now on the subject. The problem is, the more we know, the less we may wish we knew. What does an American do with such knowledge? Here's a piece on our prospective Northern Alliance pals. Read it and weep. zmag.org
