I would be amazed if we aren't quietly doing that already, along with cheap radios that pick up broadcasts from flying transmitters, etc. The US military is very geared up for all that after various campaigns in the last 20 years.

Zeev, In September, we had discussed the loss of gdp from the the recession and federal stimulus to combat this . In this weeks Barrons, Mr Ableson talks about America " looking over its shoulder" and the added increase in savings rate cause by fears ( anthrax and perhaps more examples of fears yet to come). He states that every increase of one percent in the savings rate pulls out 100 billion from the economy. I'm wondering what your thoughts are on his theory-- thanks, Rick
