Spiral: A minor point... JFK was quoted in May of 64? Or was that simply the article date, perhaps commemorating the late President's birthday of May 29, 1917 ?

There are many quotes one could draw on from the founders of the nation, which are more pertinent, I should think. It's also interesting to me that RM Nixon came from a Quaker family... maybe that's where he got his peace sign confused with his victory sign?

Still, I should think Bush could be a bit more circumspect with his religiousity, as Tony Blair has been.
