I think the demand for metals as a store of value in war would only happen if things really got horrible. If we get to that point, I think the price of silver would be the least of our worries.

Personally, I think gold and silver will never again be used for those purposes. It seems like every time they rally, there's a long line of people ready to unload their stores of the metals. They are relics of a day long past. Let's hope we never return to those days.
