That's nice, but it doesn't account for the third would growth, and it doesn't refute the fact that global energy use has grown exponentially. Not population growth mind you... energy use. If you don't believe me...why do we have an energy crisis in California? Either way u slice it, demand has outstripped supply. Not that resources arent available, just that demand has grown.

Consider nations like china, mexico, india and brasil, where they are currently undergoing record growth of industrialization utilizing in large part inefficient means of energy consumption and polution<---this is why the US bitches about being shat upon by the global greanpeace morons. As energy costs rise, the growth will shrink, and they will have the luxury of taking advantage of newer technology. But today, I have only seen small inroads made in these countries.

Doug, we're on the same page here, i'm simply suggesting that in your lifetime, you'll see significant changes in energy consumption, it's just economics.
