How many people have contracted Anthrax, compared to how many people have been hit by cars in the last week? I think we should have nationally televised warnings and directions on pedestrian street crossing.

You're right. It's time to start putting things in perspective. You're far more likely to be killed by a drunk driver than any terrorist. The list could be endless.

Be alert, don't snort any white powder that shows up in the mail and let's get on with our lives.

Most haven't even contracted, just been exposed. I wish the media would be more responsible - both about hyping the Anthrax threat and about hyping the anti-war protestors. I wish they'd publicize more polls on what real sentiment is in the western world, maybe also in the moderate Islamic states too.

Of course the fear generated by the unknown is the biggest factor...
