They could sort of make an argument for that- -enough that if you're inclined to believe it, you can believe it.
These laws seem like a clear violation of due process. You need never be convicted of anything- -you don't even need to be charged!

And the Nazis in law enforcement just got a BIG boost by 911. I have heard that new anti-terrorism bill has some real zingers in it. I've been trying to find the text of the law to see what;s in it, but haven't succeeded yet.

We may be violating the law just by questioning law enforcement's rights here. :-)

(Or maybe not :-) ).
