Faber is painting from a palette with just one color.

In the innumerable media reports nobody asked himself the question whether we, the rich industrialized countries, could have done anything wrong.

In the initial reports, this was true.... would he ask that the mourners at a funeral insult their deceased love ones because the mayor of their city did some boo boos that pissed off the killers? SHEESH!

Afterward, there has been plenty of discussion and mention of these things. I think most realize what terrors poverty can breed, yet few welfare plans have been able to end poverty. Ultimately, even in the powerful nations, the children of the poor disproportionately go off to battle worse-off poor.

Does Marc Faber propose any workable solutions? No. His critique dissolves into a market call, pandering to the richer folks he has just criticized.

I think the word 'Yutz' may be appropriate.
