Another matter is what deal of losses, efforts and time it took to come to this simplicity

That is exactly the same way I feel about it. There is this full circle that seems to be traveled before one comes to that point. Most people think their path is unique and that because they put more effort and DD than the next guy, they will get different and better results, but in the end, it only translates into merely traveling more circles around the same path and additional fear and frustration.

Sometimes I think that if I were to write...[a]...book describing my trading approach...I could fit it all in 10-15 pages[.]

Man, I know how that goes. For the last year I've considered writing a book describing functionally and qualitatively what really goes on behind market making desks, on hedge fund desks, what program trading is, how risk arbitrage strategies affect the market, etc.

Nothing about equally worthy subjects such as psychology, how to trade, etc., but just a reference in order to clear up many of the misgivings out there pertaining to many market participants and putting a real face - technologically and in terms of capabilities - on those you're trading against.

But, it'd only be 30-40 pages long (at this point), would have an incredibly limited audience, and most importantly: might be completely outdated within 5 years. SuperMontage alone will likely change many of the items I'd include as of right now. So, it's a kind of lousy proposition.
