I'm not sure I understand why you think feelings are illusions. They are quite real to the people who feel them. They can in fact be more "real" than things that we think of as real.

il·lu·sion (-lzhn)
n.

1.
a.An erroneous perception of reality.
b.An erroneous concept or belief.
2.The condition of being deceived by a false perception or belief.
3.Something, such as a fantastic plan or desire, that causes an erroneous belief or perception.
4.Illusionism in art.
5.A fine transparent cloth, used for dresses or trimming

It's hard for me, a relativist, to really imagine what an illusion might be. People claim to "talk" to God. I am sure they think they are. Is this an "illusion"? I've no idea- because in order for things to be illusions you have to be pretty sure about the underlying nature of reality. And I am not. That's why I'm an agnostic- about almost everything at a fundamental level. The only reality and perception of reality I am familiar with is my own. It is hard to generalize from a data set of one. Although I can tell you for sure than my perception of reality is very different from the perception some other people appear to have, based on my reading of other people's descriptions of their realities. So, I've no idea where you pulled illusions from or why. And although I often think people are delusional, it's just my personal opinion. I'd never offer it as absolute fact.
