Sounds good to me. A sketch of the proof would make me very happy, should you feel inclined to provide one. :)

And of course with the truly naked put the margin requirement is generally a lot less than for the CC, so you can make an even greater % gain or loss.

i.e. the only advantage of puts vs. calls is the possibility for greater leverage, should one decide to use it. Perhaps this is what is behind Roth's remarks? Still doesn't excuse the inconsistency.
