I Don't Know That There Is A Solution And I certainly don't have it if there is. What I am saying is that it would be a mistake to believe that what we are faced with is crazed, religious, zealots attempting to further their deranged ideas concerning their religious imperatives. Clearly reaching a national consensus concerning an appropriate response to that type of threat is not difficult. But as the real issues become more clearly understood, the consensus is going to break down. And that development is going to have the potential to rend the fabric of American life to a much greater extent than terrorists ever will.
