You are not far off track, I think. Ilmarinen, I believe, counts himself as an enlightened moderate european and, perhaps unintentionally, suffers from a curious case of racism. E vs US or perhaps F vs US I don't think he'd be as moderate if his country had been annexed by Soviet rule long ago, nor if the balance of the world had not come to Europes aid various times. Just a thought. And I may well put him on ignore again. One liners take up too much space and time given their substance. I'd gladly read all of any contrary view he'd like to espouse if only he'd put the effort in to do so.
