Oh yeah, I remember that chart <G> sorry...problem I have is, COMPX looks like its in the 5 up (no?) right now- started Friday?, and I thought maybe Dow was doing same...

Venture a guess on COMPX?

There was (apparently) a turn date for 14/15 I've seen some places, so I was comfortable thinking that we start getting some serious down early next week...by your count, it looks like we will turn later in the week....bigger down..

Can this thing make the 5 last into next week? Stochastically, I didn't think so, but I guess we could hit keeping pushing the roof up....add'l, the 21st is a big turn date for a lot of folks....could it possibly be DOWN? (I thought it was going to be UP)..

If we start heavy down on Wed. or Thurs...it will line-up with no cycle count I've seen....and will make the cycle thing look pretty foolish...so can you fit a count around either Monday/Tuesday this week <G> or the following Monday (21st) PUH-LEEZE? ng

Shack,

Thank You for posting the DJIA chart.

The SPX chart looks very similar and suggests the upward push should be to 1175±....after any modest pull back..!

1070 looks like the closest lower support area and 1050 after that...!

11:15am est is a critical time area for todays markets and the last hour as well....!

22nd of Oct remains important....?

Chip

Shack,

If I may ask a possibly "Dumb" ewave question...?
geocities.com

Your DJIA chart has the first wave completed at 8718, with wave 2 ending at about 8471. Yet the bottom and beginning of this move began at 8062..., this is not even a 50% retrace.

Is it possible that this retrace was not deep enough to be considered the end of wave 1...!

We may be looking at a First Wave Extension, and if so where would wave 2 begin...?

Wave 2 Personalities:
"Second waves usually retrace, or give back, all or most of wave 1.... [and] must hold above the bottom of wave 1." Murphy
