At the same time, Jews have generally formed alliances with the Moslems and aided them in their persecution of Christians and invasion of Christian lands. The Jews lived peacefully among the Christians of Spain for almost 600 years. When the Moslems arrived at the gates of the Christian cities in Spain, the Jews betrayed their Christian neighbors and made an alliance with the Moslems opening the gates of every city to the invading armies. For 700 years the Jews administered the Christian cities for the Moslem conquerors. The Moslems/Jewish persecutions during these hundreds of years was brutal. The same happened in Constantinople, Greece and Asia Minor. Jews among the Christian always joined the Moslem armies in betraying and conquering their neighbors. One of the greatest Jewish/Persian atrocities occuried in the conquest of Jerusalem in 614 AD.
