Clappers must be happy. I can not comment right now. I actually should not even post anything right now. It's taboo. I also must keep my left foot planted firmly on the carpet as I lean back on my couch, wearing the Yankee hat I had switched to on Saturday. It also looks like I have to eat another plate of buffalo wings during the game for the third night in a row. My poor stomach. My right hand must touch my face when the Yankees are at bat. I'm only allowed to use the bathroom during commercials and must return before they end. Can not get a beer in between innings. Even if they are very long innings like yesterday. Sounds easy until you have a plate of hot wings infront of you... I'm not allowed to accept any phonecalls. Wifey is washing my lucky socks and underwear. (Just kiddin'. I'm not that bad.) I'm also afraid to post any replies to JA right now. It could definitely provide the jinx that I'm trying my hardest to avoid. Communication with fans of the opposing team is a momentum breaker... Tell JA, I'm sorry for the lack of a reply right now. I'll talk to him tomorrow morning. Good sports weekend. The PeeWee Packers flag team won. Record improved to 4-2. The real Greenbay Packers also won. Beat the champs. I wish I could have watched that game and the Giants game. Missed them both due to our away game that meant a 45 minute drive to their field. I can't believe the Giants gave that game to the Rams. Arrrgh. Caught the first 3 minutes and the last 3 minutes on the radio in the car. With updates provided to me from one parent who brought a walkman. (He did a lot of cheering at inopportune times. He yelled "YES!!!" right around the same time we had fumbled the ball...) The Giants should have beaten them! Lost by a point and gave away the ball twice in the last few minutes. The last interception came when they were in or very near field goal territiory... Anyhow, I'm heading back into my foxhole until the game starts tonight. Taking my lucky rabbit's foot, horse shoe, and four leaf clover. <Clappy needs to do a lot of knocking on wood to erase this whammy:> Should be interesting tomorrow...might just be the Xxxxx and Xxxxxxxx in the ALCS...
