I like your theory....and yes, I agree.

I was thinking of a few things concerning the bio-terrorism too.

First, I'm going to wager that, in the length of time since the first Anthrax case showed up, that more people have been killed by cars on their way to work than by bio-terrorism in any of the cities involved. Do people let fear of death from car accidents keep them from going to work or doing any other thing that they feel like doing?

That's a big NO. I think that even if cases continue to show up, if they continue to be as successfully treated as they have been, then people will be less freaked by it.

Then, as in all diseases, as you get more cases of something, there is usually a quick learning curve in which the medical profession gets better at diagnosis and treatment. I've seen that fact in practical action in connection with many contagious disease outbreaks in animals over the years. The first few victims of weirdo new diseases are often lost (unfortunately), but then the vets get exceedingly good at figuring out which treatments work and which ones don't, and next thing you know... bingo... 100% recoveries all the time.

Anyhow, yep...seems that the main thing now is to be vigilant and to be assertive... Fight back. I heard something kind of funny... I'm not sure if it's true because I didn't actually read this myself, but apparently, in the case of the person who was acting up on the Air Canada flight out of L.A. a couple of weeks ago, a bunch of the passengers jumped up and grabbed the guy and tied him up with some their belts and ties or something. I have to say I laughed at that. Sounded like a bunch of my farmer friends must have been on that flight. I can see it all in my mind's eye...

"Hey!! What's he think he's doing?!!! Let's wrassle him to the ground and hog-tie him!!!"
