Greetings Tom & all,

One has to wonder what it means to have two announcements so close together? I'd love to know which companies are buying which?

Can't wait to hear from Eric L. on the timing of this announcement.

Tony

Re : soon / late /early etc. HDR ASIC chips -- to me, the astounding fact is that these chips even exist at all (and, are now in "worldwide production shipment" mode).

Where are all of those promised ASIC chips from VLSI and Prairie Dog Communications (or, whoever they were) ?

Qualcomm is once again poised to change the world, but Wall Street is too brain-dead to understand what it means ...

Jon.
