Roebear, agreed... Gold is acting (uncharacteristically) predictable -- sold into strength on Friday might take a run at it this morning -- nice weakness.

Looks like the ST down leg on gold has completed its course. 280.5 on spot supplied ample support for the ST. Will there be another leg down later is unclear.
I think 286.5-7 spot is indicated ST, but the real Q is can Gold break above 295. IMO anything over 295 will open clear sky for a choo choo train rising trend. There is a pattern showing this local low to be strong enough for a sustained rally but I won't be sure till I see at least the 287 level cruised over.
