Greg, the truth is we don't know what the big bang was and if it had a first cause. So in that sense, such a vantage point COULD exist, it just isn't relevant to us. It is like your living room to your fish. All the fish knows is the tank.

Humans don't like uncertainty any more than any other animal does. My fish is still fearful when I take it out of the tank to clean it. It likes the clean tank. It likes me because I feed it. It always comes to me when I've got the food. But when I have to scoop it out in a measuring cup, it becomes anxious.

People are the same. They fill the areas of their lives that they don't understand with myths and legends. If all the myths and legends said the same thing, I'd be more likely to agree with you. Why would that be the case? But the fact is that it isn't true. People have as many beliefs and point of view as one would expect if there were only local vantage points to view the truth, whatever that TRUTH is interpreted to be. That is the human evidence.
