Communitronics of America Inc., Announces New Wireless Technology
Applications to Include Security, Military and Home Force Personnel in the
Fight Against Terrorism Worldwide!

DAPHNE, Ala., Oct 15, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Communitronics Of America Inc.,
(OTCBB:BEEP) today announced the development of a new technology that can be
utilized in security and military applications. The technology will link
security forces throughout the world instantly, in their own languages, by
alerting them to potential risks and breaches of security.

In conjunction with this new technology, COA is also developing a pager like
device with the ability to receive up to 4000 characters per message as opposed
to the national standard of 250-500 characters per message.

Through COA's dedicated network, users can instantly receive all their e-mails
as a complete message and read them in any location without logging on to the
internet or a computer. Users can stay on top of all their email all of the
time, as it will be received immediately no matter where the location. All
e-mail received by the device through COA'S dedicated network has the option to
be forwarded to the users personal e-mail address. It is very simple to respond
either selectively or to every e-mail, immediately and safely for example when
driving, by recording a verbal response over any telephone which will be sent
back as a standard written e-mail reply. In addition the company is developing a
miniature printer which will be an add-on to the device. Other options and
applications are under development.

David Pressler, COA'S President said, "We believe this technology will appeal to
medical professionals, traveling executives and managers who wish to receive
larger e-mail on a small device. We are also aiming at customers out of range of
cellular and digital phones who would like to respond to e-mails without
typing." He added, "The major focal point of our technology are those users who
do not have a need for the Palm and Blackberry technology and the high costs
associated with these products. In short, students, middle income families and
small businesses will be able to afford the device and service." He also added,
"Our security related technology has tremendous applications both in the
protection of our Military personnel; Police; service industries such as
Airlines, Postal Workers and Truckers, in short the protection of the people
everywhere going about their normal daily life. This technology will be able
link Homeland Security Force personnel internationally in the fight against
Terrorism."

Communitronics of America Inc., provides wireless messaging such as conventional
paging and other telecommunications services in non-major metropolitan areas and
communities. Currently the company provides services in Alabama, Florida,
Louisiana, and Mississippi. The company has 6 sales offices in those states.
Through inter carrier arrangements, COA also provides nationwide and expanded
regional coverage. COA currently serves a geographical area that covers a
population of approximately 10 million people of which a 2% penetration or
200,000 is projected as potential subscribers. The current level of 10 billion
electronic notes transmitted this year will explode to an estimated 35 billion
e-mails nationwide by 2005 as reported by "Newsbytes Oct. 2000."
