Fonix and InfoSpace to Integrate Speech Technologies to Offer Cost-Effective Solutions and Necessary Tools to Wireless Carriers And Third-Party Application Developers

(Nasdaq: INSP chart, msgs), a leading provider of the platform and applications that enable partners to deliver consumer and commerce services across the Internet to any device over current and next-generation networks, to integrate the Fonix Accelerated Application Solutions Technology (FAAST(R)) Text-To-Speech (TTS) Engine into the InfoSpace Speech Platform and TTS server.

Using vocabulary generated from cluster palettes containing all the pieces of sound for speaking the desired words, FAAST TTS is virtually indistinguishable from real speech, and provides the user with a valid option for voice.
