cpt.v - i finally started up a SE Global thread - #Subject-51882 .... thought i'd let it finish that slide from May first ... now let's hope that's done, lol

Yes we could make this a good thread .... all the war news has been capturing me lately, spending way too much time reading every word on the Foreign Affairs thread and others .... not trading much, minor adjustments only ... made my bets, largely on resources, and while they're not tanking on me since i got them cheap in the first place, they're not starting their recoveries either .... bay.to, aur.to, crj.to, xcl.to, on and on and on ... geo.to! - WTF is up there ... i dinna unnerstan' ..... qbx.v - yup, it's not the year ... i don't think the chinese component of up.to is helping in this geopolitical ambience .... mfl.to made a feeble move and look at it now, fell back half-way ... ply.v, last at .20 - wha'? ..... but i keep believing, added a little ngt.v last week .... cream will rise, eventually

I can't post on stockhouse because their stupid programme logged me out and i can't find my password there - could somebody post the new SEGB thread to the cpt thread over there? ... i also started one up on iHub - investorshub.com - which has free registration btw, at least last i heard ... partly i started that one so no one else could start a thread there and discredit the thing with empty hype combined with censorship ..... cheers, all

Don’t snort the white powder that comes in the mail...and other contrary thoughts from an overactive mind. I hope, in time, senility will slow me down, but then again, it hasn’t slowed down Joe Clark yet.

And there’s no sense in any terrorists sending that anthrax stuff to Parliament Hill in the Mythical Kingdom of Ottawa; their skins are so thick you couldn’t raise a welt on any
one of them with tons of the stuff. Except maybe Alexa, she’s like a deer caught in the headlights...I admire her honesty...it must be lonely for her...finding honesty...I think she may be becoming one of us again.

But the rest of the Fools on the Hill just bumble along wrapped up in their delusions of adequacy as though anything they are talking about will be timely, or effective, or useful. Why don’t we just get a Royal Commission going? That oughta do it. I wish we could
get them to wear ridiculous costumes and wigs while they talk loudly and knowingly about matters of no consequence...Jonathan Swift and George Orwell must have known the same kind of politicians...I think they would have made them into geese.

Our Navy will be there in the “America Strikes Back” campaign, I see...in case Osama tries to escape by sea I guess. The fly ‘em for an hour and fix ‘em for a week Sea King helicopters should be good for comic relief...what are we doing?

It’s not through fear of inclusion in the war or its consequences that I say, “What are we doing?”...it’s through the fear of being laughed at. I mean, Canada just isn’t a country where armament is our first thought. Beer and food, that’s us.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t do something to help in the war on terrorism but I think we could do a far better job in a humanitrarian way. At least we would know that the Afghani people are not big fans of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that are left in a minefield. Hell, we could be the caterers...yeah that’s it. It’s just beer and food without the beer.

I think we should just quietly return to what we will always be to Americans...Mexicans in toques and sweaters. I don’t hear Vincente Fox saying that he is “shoulder to
shoulder” with Bush and offering military aid although he was Bush’s acknowledged best friend just a few weeks ago before Blair got the job.

The Taliban guys can read the big words in English better than Jean Chretien.

And Bush’s “War on Terra” could turn out to be just that. And that’s the worrisome part.

Ah well...That's enough ramblin' for awhile,
Stay warm Ralfph,
Happy Trails
Lenny
