So they would not be happy if settlemetns are being built on their land, would they? 10 NEW ILLEGAL ISRAELI SETTLEMENTS FROM UPI; Built between June and Sept 2001, 10 new settlements have been built in Palestinian territory. this is coming on top of 15 settlements built between Feb and May 2001, all of which are illegal and violate commitments made by Sharon when it formed the broad-based national unity government. The Cabinet guidelines stipulate that, "During its term of office, the government will not establish new settlements". The total structures built are 105 buildings. Israeli government ministers are expected to participate in the inaugural ceremony of 3 new additional sites on 13 October.
