Polvie,

what's your take?

...about a $1.25 on a couple of hundred shares. <g>

That should just about pay for this weekends diving.

...of course that's not counting last weeks loss on BRCM........hmmmmmm...but that was last week. This is a whole new week. We start over....right? <g>

I sold RMBS at around $8 thinking it was done.
Thinking the market was done I also sold BRCD at $19.
I don't know what is harder.
Watching the stock you own sink.
Or watching the stock you sold go up another 25% or more.

Anyhow I'm not going to let things like that bother me.
Actually I've been watching these go up without much problem.
I made good money on this run up even though I got out too early.
But I plan on looking for about 6-8 times per year where the market looks over sold (aka fat pitch) and then collect my 10-20% in a few days and then get out until the next one comes along.
I tend to lose most of my money by buying and holding and then chickening out too late, or trading during the times where uncertainty is at it's greatest.

I've been enjoying and learning more from this market by being out of it than being in it.

I thought it was a good time to short the market the other day.
So far it hasn't been working out as well as planned.
This market wants more up it appears.
When it doesn't make a bit of sense is when it seems to go higher and higher.
You can almost buy the dips here and make money.
I'm not going to do it though. I want much bigger dips...

One other thing about RMBS.
They still only have a PE of 12 with this news coming out.
Not bad for a tech company with several oars in the water...

P.S. Cleveland vs Mariners game is pretty good. 2-1 M's right now.

Tell Scott I said good luck. I don't want to jinx him.
Tell JA that I'll read his reply tomorrow. I ain't falling for that ol' trick. Mr. NiceGuy thinks he's slick...
