How does that make one self-centered....if everyone else is comforted and one is left out that person might feel paranoid about it but not self-centered. Paranoid is definetly a self-centered condition. "Having a problem with" God Bless America in and of itself is not selfcentered, but stopping ohthers who are comforted by it though you may not be is. Perhaps but is that on a per capita basis?? Absolute, per capita, with fudge topping, anyway you wanna split it. And why do you trifle with this idea? And would that be because god has blessed us or because we as a people have built a prosperous and compassionate nation. And many give thanks to God for it. "You don't see that and don't want God to bless us, that makes you an ingrate. Yup. So again I ask you, is this a religious war??? No, this is a war between the United States and a coalition of partners and terrorists. Have you not been paying attention? In regards to God, I'll only say that I believe God is the cause of everything so anything you want to ask whether God caused it or not, the answer will be yes. If you ask me why He/She/It does it, I'll tell you, I don't know, I'm not God. Ask him in prayer.
