"Who in their right mind would not select the previous 8 years over the last 10 months???" Me for one. I hated that America was divided like it was. I guess for Clinton fans it was fine, but I do not measure success solely on how the stock market did (and I don't think it did good BECAUSE of Clinton). America was sliding into the gutter during his terms, and he added a giant exclamation point with his last minute pardons of fugitives and drug dealers. Gore's failed attempt to steal a Presidential election was the beginning of a new era of personal responsibility and a shift towards more traditional American values that are outlined in our constitiution. The tragic events on 9-11-01 will produce a net positive to the world in that more people can recognize good from bad and people will become more tolerant of all beliefs EXCEPT the belief that it is ok to kill and lie to make your point. Based on your post from earlier today it looks like you still cannot tell good from bad as you are having trouble figuring out who is right and who is wrong regarding the events of September 11, 2001.
