By the time they make it relatively bug-free (if ever), it will probably cost an extra 10%.

I guess now Intel has committed to the 1H 2002 deadline for Foster with Hyper-Threading. I am really curious how it will work in the real-life apps. But Intel seems to be hedging their bets by limiting it to server chips. I wonder why, if the silicon is there, in all the chips.

If AMD had thought to do it you'd be praising them to the heavens.
