My understanding is that the only smallpox in the world is in the possession of the USA and Russia, and we aren't letting any of it go to North Korea or Iraq. No?

Hawk,

I don't think we can anticipate what "they" will do. Nobody anticipated WTC, and nobody but nobody anticipated anthrax powder in envelopes, and in post offices (2 postal workers in Trenton are possibly showing symptoms; powder was found in Boca Raton post office too--and practically every western country is having hoaxes and scares). They MAY have nothing better up their sleeve, but there's a decent chance they can escalate in ways we haven't imagined. Anyway, some rich Saudi Arabian bought two planes in August here in U.S. and now we can't find him or them. I mean, they only need a private plane w/ suicide bomb to crash into a nuclear containment pool...

Or for this situation to steadily escalate over the next six months or a year to the point where the realignment of nations and interests is so polarized that somebody DOES give them the smallpox virus
