I agree Bill, It's people who deserve respect, opinions are worth a dime a dozen, and are often wrong. I think you are wrong about the bible contradicting itself regarding the life of Christ, but even if you were, you have failed to demonstrate that it is wrong in its moral pronouncements regarding homosexual behavior. These are very clear, and they form the basis of my beliefs on the matter. I don't see that as an unreasoned position. "Even these can turn out to be wrong. But progress is impossible without honest criticism." "I think, on the issue of homosexuality, there has been a misunderstanding of what God had in mind." I agree with the first statement, as long as it extends to both parties. How exactly, do you feel we have misunderstood God on this issue, and why?
