"The photographer was sick for several days before he went to the hospital. It wasn't a matter of hours."

One case. Anthrax can kill you in as little as 6 hours once in phase 2. The photgrapher did last about 48 hours but he was on IV antibiotics.

RE:"My college roommate, who is now a medical micro-bacteriologist professor at a research college, made some common sense suggestions, don't bother opening mail which you'd toss out anyway (mostly junk mail), but keep doing what you love to do, refuse to let terror win"

There is always a silver ling in every dark cloud. The junk mail industry is on the ropes.

RE:"The FBI is seeking a Saudi pilot who bought two planes in August from a small Tennessee airport near Fort Campbell, Ky., where some of the U.S. elite special forces are stationed, officials said." ..."The FBI is searching anew for Khaled Alzeedi, a Saudi pilot who purchased two small aircraft from an airplane broker in Clarksville, Tenn., and left the state shortly before the suicide hijackings"

Interesting. The doves on this thread will likely say..."no big deal"...
